I have to agree, as a sometimes poet I don’t want to write something someone can’t put themselves into. When I listen to music, it has to say something to me, I really hate the songs that mindlessly repeat the same retarded catch and it has nothing to do with having anything to say. It’s hard to find music that really satisfies me.

You try to fit yourself into the lives of the words, in a way that people read books and become the character, you become the person that is singing these words in the context of the song. Then it becomes more personal to you and you can sing it to the fullest beauty that they were written.

I also agree entirely about your analysis of love.

Love is like lightning – it strikes, and then most of us aren’t ready with bottles to capture it in, and it disappears before you know it.

That special person is different for each and every individual – and it crosses all boundaries, borders, and lines – once you know who you’re supposed to be with, do not hesitate to go after them, or you will lose the lightning before capturing it.

I always have a jar ready and open.
